This morning we explored the relationship between hearing and doing, which raises the question: if we’re called to be a people of action, how do we know what it is we should be doing? Who are we listening to?

This week Sam will be picking up from where Pete finished last Sunday, as we look at the relationship between trial and temptation. We’ll be exploring how, as followers of Jesus, knowing ourselves and knowing God are the key to overcoming.

This week Pete is encouraging us that, even though as followers of Jesus we are to expect trials, by the grace of God we can face them in joy, knowing that by remaining stedfast in genuine faith, we will receive the crown of life.
